Children 1st is a co-parenting program designed for families going through divorce or separation. This two-session course is officially recognized by the Monterey County Court as a certified parenting class. Additionally, a version of the program is available for children ages 5-18 whose parents have completed the course as well.

We provide two classes for each parent and two classes for the children. Classes are offered throughout the year to individuals and small groups. Divorcing/separating parents will take separate classes. Children will have classes in small groups, with their sibling(s), or individually.
To receive an individualized certificate, an adult must complete 2 classes.
Classes are offered virtually through Zoom or at our Salinas office.
