Family First

Program Overview

Family First aims to empower mothers, fathers, and guardians ages 13-25 who have not completed high school with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to raise the leaders of our future. Family First will partner with young families to support their education, parenting, and individual needs.

Serving 112 young parents and their children across Monterey county.

                   

  • Eligibility
    • Applicants must be between the ages of 13-25
    • Expecting or parenting
    • Have not graduated HS or acquired GED
  • Free Services/ Program Components
    • Individual Support Meetings focused on education, parenting, and linkage to resources.
    • Playgroup
    • Family Bonding Activities
    • Peer Support Groups
    • Program incentives: diapers, wipes, formula
  • Referral Link and Paper
